Mike Yahraus, Florida Has Impressive Project Management Skills

Mike Yahraus, Florida is an experienced project manager with extensive background in commercial and luxury multi-family residential construction projects ranging from $30M to $200M. He has special expertise in the areas of project management, project close-out, job accounting analysis, design coordination, project marketing and project/client development. He is responsible for delivery of projects on-schedule and under budget. He has achieved proven success in the development and implementation of complex project solutions. He has the ability to reduce project costs and schedules to meet aggressive timelines and budgets, thus increasing profit margins and customer satisfaction. He graduated (with honors) from the University of Florida, ME Rinker School of Building Construction with a BS in Construction Management. He graduated from Miami Killian Sr. High School in Miami, FL.

The project, General Funding Office Building was winner of USGBC South Florida - "Project of the Year LEED Core & Shell" and Best Office Project - ENR Southeast in 2012. It has LEED Gold Certification for core and shell construction. Surf Club is his ongoing project on a seven acre historic site. It is a multi-building (Richard Meier Design) redevelopment project and he has been working as the Project Manager since December 2003. Monte Carlo Luxury Rentals is another ongoing project. It includes construction of 136 units of multi family residential rental apartments. 1450 Brickell Office Building is an important project completed by Mike. It has LEED Gold Certification for core and shell – the first LEED Certified Office Building in South Florida. This $145M GMP contract was winner of USGBC South Florida - "Project of the Year - LEED Core & Shell" and Crystal Achievement Award for “Most Innovative Protective Glazing Project” in the year 2011. In 2012, it received  “Project of the Year” by Urban Land Institute.

Mike Yahraus is a member of Coastal IT Steering Committee since 2011. He is also involved in Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services as the  Project Manager / Coordinator for a major renovation of their facility organized through in-kind subcontractor and vendor contributions.
