Mike Yahraus Has Achieved Great Successes In The Field of Project Management


Mike Yahraus is presently working as a Project Executive with Coastal Construction Company. His significant projects include the 1450 Brickell Office Building. This $145M, GMP Contract was completed in 2010. It was the first LEED certified office building in South Florida. The LEED gold certification for core and shell has received great appreciation from clients and other professionals working in the construction industry. This project has won a number of awards and titles. It was winner of Project of the Year - LEED Core and Shell by USGBC South Florida in 2011. In 2012, it received Project of the Year from the Urban Land Institute. It was also winner of the Crystal Achievement Award for Most Innovative Protective Glazing Project in 2011.

While working with Coastal Construction Company, Mike Yahraus has responsibly handled multiple projects. Mosaic on Miami Beach was a $40M lump sum contract from 2005-2007. The 21 story multi family residential condo was built according to client specifications and included 85 units. Bayview 8- Fisher Island project was another significant project. This $27M lump sum contract was completed in 2005. He played a vital role in the General Funding Office Building project which is a Gold LEED certified building, featuring a sophisticated Lutron lighting control system integrated with high efficiency LED lighting, and a Lutron motorized window shade system with solar tracking. This building features Class-A office space, a multilevel parking facility, an elevated exterior meeting space and ground-level retail. Also, the entire exterior has windows built with large missile impact-resistant glass, exceeding the requirements of the local code covering the first 30 ft. The project achieved Gold Certification from the U.S. Green Building Council's Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design sustainable rating system. The project was winner of "Project of the Year LEED Core and Shell" by USGBC South Florida. It also received Best Office Project by ENR Southeast in 2012.

Mike Yahraus graduated (with honors) from the University of Florida, ME Rinker School of Building Construction with a BS in Construction Management (Class of 2001).  He graduated from Miami Killian Sr. High School in Miami, FL (Class of '95).

Mike Yahraus, Florida Has Excellent Project Management Skills


Mike Yahraus, Florida is presently serving as Project Manager at Coastal Construction Company.  Surf Club is one of his ongoing projects. This $250M GMP contract is a multi-building (Richard Meier Design) redevelopment project on a seven acre historic site. Monte Carlo Luxury Rentals is his other ongoing project. It is a $30M GMP contract and includes multi family residential rental apartments. Using his experience and creative skills, he completes projects within time and budget. He is known for his innovativeness in each project. He has achieved proven success in the development and implementation of complex project solutions. Mr. Yahraus is an experienced professional with extensive experience in completion of commercial and multi-family residential construction projects from $30M - $250M. He has the ability to reduce project costs and schedules to meet aggressive timelines and budgets increasing profit margins and customer satisfaction.

A team player, Mike Yahraus works with his teams to successfully complete big construction projects. He has excellent communication and interpersonal skills and makes sure that everyone is directed towards achievement of desired goals. His areas of expertise include but not limited to project management, team building, pre-construction estimating, design coordination, project marketing and paperless jobsite project management. He has excellent leadership skills and negotiation skills which help him to complete projects at lower costs.

During his time at RJ Griffin as the Project Engineer / Assistant Project Manager, Mike Yahraus, Florida completed important projects. His projects included Hammock Beach Resort Phase I, Hammock Beach Phase II, and The Club @ Hammock Beach. An $8M lump sum contract The Club @ Hammock Beach included resort style water park w/4 pools, lazy river, site amenity package, and an indoor pool building.

He has received his education from the University of Florida. He graduated with BS Const. Mgmt. with honors in 2001. His current involvements include Coastal Construction House Captain Rebuilding Together - National Re-building Day 2012. He has been a member of Coastal IT Steering Committee since 2011.
