Mike Yahraus Has Many Years of Experience in The Construction Industry

Mike Yahraus has extensive experience in commercial and luxury multi-family residential construction projects from $30M to $200M. He is a seasoned project manager with proven success in the development and implementation of complex project solutions. He dedicatedly performs his responsibilities of delivering projects on-schedule, and under budget. He has the ability to reduce project costs and schedules to meet aggressive timelines and budgets, thus increasing profit margins and customer satisfaction. His areas of expertise include job accounting analysis, design coordination, project marketing, paperless jobsite project management, and project/client development.

Mike Yahraus has successfully completed several prestigious construction projects. His project, General Funding Office Building, won "Project of the Year LEED Core & Shell" and Best Office Project - ENR Southeast in 2012. This $30M GMP contract included interior build-outs of 30,000SF of office space and a 4,000 SF branch bank. It has LEED Gold Certification for core and shell construction. 1450 Brickell Office Building is a notable project completed by Mike. It has LEED Gold Certification for core and shell - the first LEED Certified Office Building in South Florida. This $145M GMP contract was winner of USGBC South Florida - "Project of the Year - LEED Core & Shell" and Crystal Achievement Award for "Most Innovative Protective Glazing Project" in the year 2011. In 2012, it received "Project of the Year" by the Urban Land Institute. His current involvements include Miami Bridge Youth and Family Services - Project Manager / Coordinator for a major renovation of their facility organized through in-kind subcontractor and vendor contributions - 2011.

His contributions to the construction industry have been praised by his employers as well as his peers. The Surf Club project is an ongoing $200M GMP contract in Surfside, FL. This multi-building (Richard Meier Design) redevelopment project is located on a 7 acre historic site. Mike Yahraus graduated (with honors) from the University of Florida, ME Rinker School of Building Construction with a BS in construction management. He graduated from Miami Killian Sr. High School in Miami, FL. His colleagues and peers look upon him as a source of inspiration.
